High-definition ultrasonography for evaluation of embryonic and fetal development in bitch

ABSTRACT In women, high-definition ultrasonography provides high-quality images of normal and diseased tissues throughout pregnancy, however there are no veterinary studies describing the use this technology in pregnant dogs. The objective was to evaluate female dogs daily, using (HD) brachycephalic, documenting daily findings maternal-fetal structures. Twelve healthy brachycephalic females were evaluated by HD ultrasound until delivery. It possible identify categorize all maternal, embryonic, fetal structures their development, including some not yet described literature. exam is an excellent method monitor pregnancy early, providing safe complete information regarding development.
